Job Description Western Digital seeks a strategic, execution-focused Chief of Staff to support the Chief Product Officer (CPO) . This role involves driving operational alignment, prioritizing strategic initiatives, and enabling cross-functional execution across Western Digital’s product portfolio. You will manage daily operations, lead special projects, and enhance organizational effectiveness across product, engineering, marketing, and business teams. You will be central to how the product organization operates—streamlining processes, aligning resources, and translating vision into results. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CPO to drive strategy, streamline operations, and manage priorities across product lines Lead and coordinate high-impact, cross-functional programs and initiatives Act as a liaison between the CPO and internal/external stakeholders Participate in financial planning, including budgeting and strategic investments Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to improve product and organizational performance Build operational systems to enhance decision-making and communication Prepare executive presentations, board materials, and strategy documents Ensure progress on key initiatives through follow-up, reporting, and tracking Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields 10+ years in program/project management, strategy, or business operations in tech Strong understanding of Western Digital’s products and industry landscape Experience in workforce planning, financial modeling, and cross-functional coordination High financial acumen supporting P&L, budgeting, and investments Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders Comfortable in fast-paced, complex environments Analytical, results-driven, and capable of making quick decisions Professionalism, discretion, and executive presence Preferred Qualifications Experience as Chief of Staff or supporting C-level executives Background in enterprise hardware, storage, or infrastructure Knowledge of product development lifecycle and methodologies Advanced degree (MBA or MS) is a plus Additional Information Western Digital is committed to equal opportunity and diversity.
