Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Clinic Operations is responsible for the strategic management and long-term sustainability of all MGRMC owned practices. In conjunction with practice managers, providers, and with the hospital leadership team, this position is responsible to develop short-term goals and long-term strategy for the physician practices. They will ensure that the practices meet all clinical, financial, quality, patient satisfaction, and operational performance metrics of MGRMC.
Required Qualifications
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Current Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card (new hires must also complete the application process for this card before being released to their department).
· Minimum of five years of progressive experience in clinic practice management, with at least three years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a multi-location setting.
· Demonstrated experience building and maintaining excellent working relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers in a clinic setting.
· Thorough knowledge of the operational policies and procedures specific to Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), including regulatory and compliance requirements.
· Strong working knowledge of healthcare financial management, including RHC reimbursement models, billing and coding practices, accounts receivable management, budget development and monitoring, and financial reporting.
· Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
· Ability to prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff and support personnel required.
· Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Meditech), practice management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with process improvement methodologies and data analysis for operational enhancement.
· Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
· Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
· Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
· Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
