At Zurich, technology is central to our operations, from underwriting risks to processing claims. Our Information Technology team provides employees with the latest tools to work efficiently and uphold high standards of excellence. The team is responsible for safeguarding our systems from security risks and designing technology strategies that enable Zurich’s business objectives. Our IT functions include application development and management, enterprise architecture, and technology risk and compliance. About the role: Collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to design and develop AEM components, templates, and workflows that meet project requirements. Integrate AEM with third-party systems and platforms using APIs and other methods. Configure AEM settings, permissions, and workflows based on project needs and best practices. Assist in content migration and authoring, ensuring seamless transition and adherence to content guidelines. Optimize AEM performance by identifying bottlenecks, improving code efficiency, and implementing caching strategies. Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to ensure cohesive implementation of digital solutions. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to team members and stakeholders. Document technical specifications, system architecture, and development processes for future reference. Conduct code reviews and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure standards are met. Basic Qualifications: Two-year degree in CIS/Computer Science or 1-2 years of IT development experience in lieu of degree. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience as an AEM Developer, including custom component development and platform integration. Experience with AEM Core Components and Touch UI development. Knowledge of AEM administration, including user permissions, configurations, and system maintenance. Understanding of software development methodologies, version control, and CI/CD processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
