Job Description

Strader's Garden Centers is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our Landscape Installation Crew. Landscape Installation Crew members are primarily responsible for the delivery and planting of trees and shrubs. Landscape Installation Crew members also deliver bagged materials, such as mulches and soils, trees and shrubs that the customer will plant themselves, and product between Strader's locations. Landscape Installation Crew members also assist in the Nursery at our Riverside location between deliveries and plantings.

Job Duties Include

• Loading of vehicle and securing product
• Delivery of trees, shrubs, and bagged materials to customers homes in an efficient, safe and timely manner
• Planting of trees and shrubs as directed by the Crew Leader
• Delivery of product between Strader's locations
• Daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Nursery assistance including unloading of trucks and moving product, pricing and stocking product, watering, weed control, and general customer service duties

Skills Required

• Ability to operate a box truck with a 15-18' trailer attached
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Qualified candidates will possess a great attitude and passion for their work, are reliable and will be comfortable with physical labor.
