About the Role:

Taylor Duma LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with three or more years of litigation experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, research, and writing skills, be self-motivated, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. This position offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, work closely with senior attorneys, and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses, parties, and experts.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Work collaboratively with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with high academic achievement.
• Active member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, including experience taking and defending depositions.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with personal injury and/or nursing/medical defense litigation
