The goal of PLM Solutions Architect will design, maintain current setup and implement, and enhance PLM solutions using Siemens Teamcenter to support complex aerospace engineering and manufacturing processes. This role requires deep expertise in Teamcenter configuration, customization, and integration to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and enable efficient product development.. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems to enhance operational efficiency. This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days. What You Will Do As part of the UAS Production organization, and deployed in a CMES team you will act as a PLM Solution Architect for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market Architect and deploy PLM solutions using Siemens Teamcenter tailored to aerospace product development and lifecycle management. Maintain Infrastructure (Servers, Hardware-based Load Balancers Config, etc), perform installations, deploy patches and updates. Experience configuring & managing distributed architectural components such as pool managers, FMS cache servers, Web Server, SSO, Microservices, Dispatcher client/scheduler/module, and Vis server. Configure Teamcenter modules, including workflow, structure manager, requirements management, and change management, to align with aerospace processes. Must be familiar with Active Workspace configuration Have hands-on experience with the Deployment Center and common software deployment process by promoting solutions from a non-production environment to creating a well-tested deployment package and deploying to production using TEM and DC. Integrate Teamcenter with CAD tools (e.g., NX, CATIA), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and aerospace-specific tools like MES (OpCenter) platforms using native integrations and AIG (Active Integration Gateway) solutions. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions that meet regulatory standards. Provide technical leadership in defining PLM strategies for aerospace programs, including digital twin and model-based definition (MBD). Conduct system testing, performance optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability in high-stakes aerospace environments. Experience of working in a sprint cadence for the development and delivery of systems. Knowledge of Agile or DevOps methodologies in aerospace software development with hands-on experience with maintaining and committing code repositories using tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Tortoise. Support end-user training and create documentation to drive adoption across aerospace teams. Stay current on aerospace industry trends, Teamcenter advancements, and digital transformation technologies to recommend innovative solutions. Having hands-on experience with Teamcenter modules such as BOM & Effectivity Management, Easy Plan (MPP), Workflow Designer, Query Builder, TcRA, Program & Project Management, Quality Management, Access Manager Requirements BS/MS degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in PLM implementation with Siemens Teamcenter, preferably 5 years in the aerospace or defense sector. Expertise in Teamcenter configuration, BMIDE, and ITK customization. Strong knowledge of CAD/PLM integrations, with tools like NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python. Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, DO-178C, FAR Part 21). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex aerospace projects. Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Siemens Teamcenter certifications (e.g., Teamcenter Architect) are a plus. Job Type: Full-time Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $188,567 - $221,844 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
