Job Description

As a Receptionist , you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and guests while providing vital administrative and organizational support to legal staff. This role combines front-desk hospitality, clear communication, and light administrative duties in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing calls and guests appropriately.
• Manage front-desk operations, including monitoring email/fax inboxes, maintaining a clean reception area, and overseeing package and delivery logs.
• Coordinate meetings and events by scheduling, preparing materials, confirming attendance (quorums), and occasionally working evening shifts.
• Provide administrative support such as calendar management, billing entry (Juris), check preparation, and parking validation orders.
• Assist with internal projects and communications, including holiday/event mailouts and general clerical support as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, additional education a plus
• 2+ years in a front desk or administrative support role, legal office experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and multi-line phone systems
• Experience with iManage and/or legal billing software (Juris) is a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset
