Senior General Manager

The Senior General Manager oversees the operations and profit and loss of the property, including staffing, administration, accounting, marketing, leasing, maintenance, capital improvements, and resident services. Punctuality and productivity are essential.

Essential Job Functions:

• Hire, train, supervise, and develop team members; manage scheduling; address performance issues; ensure operational standards are met.
• Maintain leasing and marketing activities; participate in sales calls, tours, and presentations.
• Handle resident behavioral issues, mediate conflicts, respond to complaints, and enforce lease agreements.
• Inspect units and community areas; coordinate maintenance and unit turnovers.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and financial controls; monitor resident accounts for accuracy and collections.
• Develop relationships with campus and community organizations; oversee resident life programs and marketing efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• State leasing license or the ability to obtain one.
• At least two years managing a student property.
• Proficient in MS Office and social media.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Entrata.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.

Work Schedule: Generally 9 am - 6 pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain stationary for long periods, occasionally move, operate office equipment, communicate effectively, and lift up to 30 pounds. Visual acuity for data analysis and reading is required. Travel may be necessary.
