Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and organized Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide support to our attorneys and assist in various legal tasks. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department.

Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for casesAssist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as contracts and pleadingsOrganize and maintain legal files and documentsSchedule appointments, meetings, and court hearingsDraft correspondence and communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the caseAssist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating with witnessesPerform clerical tasks, such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and scanning documentsProofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness

Skills: Proficient in using iManage and Lexis-Nexis for legal research and document management Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminologyExcellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documentsAbility to conduct thorough legal research using various resources Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders Proficient in proofreading legal documents for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors Familiarity with general law office procedures and protocols
